Green revolution in the company: TMETAL builds a photovoltaic power plant for its own consumption
TMETAL has decided to invest in renewable energy sources and has taken the strategic step of installing a photovoltaic power plant on the roofs of its buildings. This photovoltaic power plant has a capacity of 262 kWp and is equipped with a storage system with a capacity of 242 kWh. The main objective of this project is to use solar energy for the company's own consumption and optimize the supply of electricity for business activities.
Installing a photovoltaic power plant is a key step towards sustainability and reducing dependence on traditional, non-renewable energy sources. Using solar energy is environmentally friendly and contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the company's overall ecological footprint.
Thanks to the storage system, the company will be able to effectively use the energy produced even when sunlight is insufficient. This increases self-sufficiency and independence from traditional electricity suppliers, which can lead to significant savings in the long term.
The company decided to use available subsidies to support renewable energy sources in the implementation of this project and thus reduce the costs associated with investing in a photovoltaic power plant.
By investing in photovoltaics, TMETAL demonstrates its commitment to renewable energy sources and its efforts to reduce its environmental footprint. This step also contributes to the long-term sustainability of its business and strengthens its position as a socially responsible company.
The project "Photovoltaic system with accumulation of objects of the company TMETAL", registration number CZ.31.3.0/0.0/0.0/22_001/0001086 is co-financed by the European Union.
The aim of the project is to install a photovoltaic power plant (including storage) for the applicant's own consumption. Using renewable sources, the provision of electricity for business activities will be optimized.
