Stretch semi-trailer for transporting oversized loads

We often need to transport oversized steel structures or machines to our customers. Previously, we had to cover them with foil for transport, which was often damaged on the way. Today, on the new semi-trailer of our forwarder Montag – Trans sro, we can transport machines up to a meter wider than standard. The side tarpaulins can be extended from the standard 250 cm to 350 cm. Loading is possible thanks to the extendable portal of the rear door.

In the photos you can see a vibrating machine weighing 7,6 tons and 320 cm wide. Although its width exceeds the standard by 70 cm, thanks to the extension sheet it was possible to load the machine and transport it covered to our customer in Austria.
