TMETAL has supplied a steel structure for soundproofing the steam turbine at the Zarqa power plant, which is being built in Jordan near the capital Amman. The 183 MW steam turbine for the new power plant is being supplied by Doosan Skoda.

This combined cycle power plant will be built on the site of the decommissioned Hussein thermal power plant and will use its infrastructure. With a capacity of 485 MW, it will add an additional 150 MW to the grid and will be significantly more environmentally friendly than the current one thanks to its high efficiency and low emissions.

TMETAL's delivery included a steel structure weighing 13,6 tons, including static calculations, project documentation, pre-assembly in black and painting.
