From May 31, 2025, you can personally view our steel structures that we have delivered for another successful world-class project. Sky walk Heart of Poronin can be found in Poland and is a modern tourist attraction that combines breathtaking views of the Tatra Mountains with an adrenaline park for the general public.
The Sky Walk Heart of Poronin was designed and built by a Czech company TAROS NOVA as, which has been involved in a number of similar projects with innovative solutions in the past. One example for all – SkyBridge 721 in Lower Moravia.
Reliability, safety, and the ability to find new ways to meet ambitious goals are absolutely crucial for such constructions.
Our company TMETAL It meets such requirements, which is why we had the honor of becoming partners of TAROS NOVA as and supplying steel structures for the Heart of Poronin.
Various tubular elements and unconventional angles presented real challenges that a person outside the field would hardly imagine. Although we at TMETAL have extensive experience with steel structures for various projects around the world, we sometimes had to improvise, test and look for novel approaches during the order.
But it's precisely the projects where we push the boundaries of what's possible that we enjoy the most.
When we work on a project at TMETAL, we know every drawing, weld, bolt and part of a steel structure down to the smallest detail. However, employees rarely get to see the real result of our joint work.
This time it worked. We have arranged a reward for our employees for their honest work in the form of a company trip to Poland to the Heart of Poronin, so that we can admire this impressive building together.
We managed to visit before the official opening of the tourist attraction, so we had complete peace and plenty of time to explore. Thanks to this, we were presented with uninterrupted views of the Tatras from an unconventional perspective that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
The opening of the tourist attraction caused quite a stir (in the media). And it's no wonder. The heart of Poronin is an architectural delicacy that has the potential to attract visitors to Poland from all over the world.
The circular observation deck suspended at a height of 47 meters is unparalleled. The largest glass terrace in Europe suspended above Podhale offers tourists a unique 360° panoramic view of the entire Tatras – from majestic mountains towering into the clouds to picturesque valleys and surrounding villages.
Adventurous natures will definitely appreciate the special playground 40 meters above the ground inspired by spider webs, 2 stainless steel slides 75 meters long and all the other adrenaline-pumping elements.
But you definitely don't have to worry. The Sky Walk Heart of Poronin is one of the viewing points accessible to everyone - regardless of age and physical limitations. The trail has a maximum slope of 6° and a width of around 2,5 meters, so enthusiastic tourists, families with children in strollers and people with disabilities can easily handle the walk.
And a final touch. Thanks to a well-thought-out design with respect for traditions and the location, the Heart of Poronin attraction is almost invisible from most places in the vicinity, so it does not disrupt the panoramas or the original character of the landscape.
