TMETAL finalist in the DHL UniCredit Export Award

TMETAL took part in this year’s 20th DHL UniCredit Export Award under the auspices of Czech Trade. With year-on-year export growth of 9.4% (2015 vs. 2016) and exports accounting for 93% of total turnover in 2016, TMETAL placed 29th out of 81 companies in the medium-sized enterprise category.

A total of 171 Czech companies applied for this jubilee edition, for whom export is a significant source of revenue. Exporters who meet ownership criteria and the minimum export threshold are eligible to apply. The basic evaluation of exporters is based on an index calculated as the product of year-on-year export growth and the share of exports in the company’s turnover. Based on the results, companies are divided into categories and their final ranking in the competition is determined.

The DHL UniCredit Export Award was established in 1997 by logistics company DHL Express CZ with the aim of motivating exporters to conquer foreign markets and secure new outlets for their products.
