Extendable semi-trailer for transporting oversized loads

We often need to transport oversized steel structures or machines to our customers. Previously, we had to cover these for transport with protective film, which frequently became damaged en route. Today, on the new semi-trailer of our forwarder Montag – Trans s.r.o., we can transport machines up to one meter wider than the standard. The side tarpaulins can be extended from the standard 250 cm up to 350 cm. Loading is made possible by the extendable rear-door portal.

In the photos you can see a vibrating machine weighing 7.6 tonnes and 320 cm wide. Although its width exceeds the standard by 70 cm, thanks to the expandable tarpaulin it was possible to load the machine and transport it covered to our customer in Austria.
