TMETAL bridge erected at Vienna Airport

Overnight, Vienna gained a new landmark. During the night of 10 February 2020, a pedestrian bridge was installed at Vienna Schwechat Airport, whose steel structure was manufactured by TMETAL. The bridge consists of two sections measuring 34 and 58 meters and will connect Parkhaus 3 and the new Office Park 4, which will be opened together with the bridge in May 2020. The bridge will be covered and a giant LED wall measuring 180 m2 will be installed on it.

TMETAL supplied the steel structures of both bridge sections together with engineering and surface treatment.

The weights of the bridge sections are 49 tonnes and 83 tonnes.
