Information on the current situation regarding COVID-19

Dear business partners,

We would like to inform you about the situation at our company and how we are responding to the current developments in the Czech Republic in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic.

Our top priority is the health of our employees and business partners. As of today, our company is operating with maximum commitment; production continues without restrictions except for minor exceptions, and we are striving to maintain this so we can meet our customers’ requirements and delivery deadlines.

Accordingly, we are carefully implementing measures to protect the health of our staff, which we support with immune-strengthening preparations, enhanced hygiene, and, of course, reduced contacts. We are currently operating according to the following principles:

• At TMETAL, commercial visits by external companies are prohibited; matters are handled by phone, email, or teleconference. Travel to other companies is restricted to essential cases only, such as urgent receipts and dispatches. A minimum distance of 2 meters between people is maintained.
• Office staff whose duties allow it are working from home; others are separated as much as possible by space and time. Individual production shifts do not meet, and time is allowed for disinfecting the premises.
• Additional recommended rules have been implemented internally to limit contact among larger groups. All employees wear protective face masks or other face coverings. We place the utmost emphasis on disinfection and other hygienic measures.

At present, deliveries are proceeding without restrictions except for minor exceptions. However, we consider it necessary to inform and warn our business partners that the overall situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic constitutes force majeure. Any adverse disruptions affecting our ability to fulfill current and future contractual obligations are entirely beyond our company’s control.

Therefore, we ask our customers and suppliers to notify us immediately of any changes that could jeopardize the ability to deliver or collect ordered goods. We believe that through mutual cooperation and respect we will manage this difficult social and economic situation!
